What we collect

• URLs you submit and the publicly available content, robots.txt, sitemap and headers we fetch from them.
• Optional details you enter: business category, city, business name.
• Email address if you buy a report, used to deliver it and for receipts.
• IP address, used transiently for rate limiting and abuse prevention (stored as short-lived counters).
• Payment details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.

How we use it

To run scans, generate and deliver reports, prevent abuse, and comply with tax and legal obligations. We don't sell personal information.

• Perplexity and OpenAI (we send generic questions such as "best [category] in [city]" and your business name; we do not send your email)
• Database provider (Neon/Upstash or similar)

Some of these process data outside Australia (e.g. the United States).

Retention

Free scan results are cached for up to 24 hours. Paid reports and order records are kept for up to [12 months / as required for tax records — 5 years for transaction records]. Rate-limit counters expire within an hour.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (and GDPR where it applies) you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing [privacy@yourdomain]. You can complain to the OAIC (oaic.gov.au).

Cookies

We don't use advertising cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile and Stripe Checkout may set strictly necessary cookies.
